Apple just announced iOS 16.3 is set to be released next week. It’s a relatively subdued update, plus they’re celebrating Black History Month with a new Unity wallpaper for the iPhone lock screen and a Unity face for the Apple Watch, both of these features release next week and require iOS 16.3 to work, hence it’s safe to say Apple will release iOS 16.3 next week.
One of the new features in iOS 16.3 is the ability to use a physical security key for your Apple ID, which provides an extra layer of security for your account. They also made some changes to the “Call with Hold” feature for Emergency SOS; now your iPhone will wait until you release the buttons to call emergency services.
