On Wednesday, February 8th, Nintendo will host a Nintendo Direct and broadcast news about its upcoming Switch games. The presentation will air live at 5 PM Eastern Standard Time (2 PM Pacific Standard Time) and can be watched on Nintendo’s YouTube channel (embedded below).
According to Nintendo, this month’s Direct will last approximately 40 minutes and will provide details on games slated to launch on the Switch during the first half of 2023. The lineup includes a number of highly-anticipated titles, such as “Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe,” a retelling of the 2011 Wii game; “Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon,” a captivating adventure set in a fantastical world and starring a young Bayonetta; “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom,” the sequel to the hit game “Breath of the Wild”; and “Pikmin 4” the latest entry in the popular strategy/action series.
Additionally, Nintendo has plans to release “Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp,” a remake of two Game Boy Advance-era games, although a release date has yet to be announced. Despite some delays, the game is rumored to be coming to the Switch soon.
Also, Nintendo has even more in store for 2023, including the opening of the Super Nintendo Land theme park at Universal Studios Hollywood on February 17th, and the release of the highly anticipated “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” on April 7th.
